To see and be seen. We read a lot about the connection between body positivity and naturism, always noting that naturism is not about exhibitionism. Certainly that is true, we are not seeking anyone’s approval, or looking to another to provide validation for ourselves. But it is impossible to overstate the special power of the “shared” experience. When you make the leap into a social experience, be it the beach for a day, or camping for a weekend, it is seeing, and being seen that defines it.
