Nudity – Is posting pictures of your naked self empowering?

So, my wife can be a bit of a feminist on some things, and so I wanted her incite on the following article (http://www.northdevonjournal.co.uk/Nude-pictures-posted-Reign-actress-attempt-defeat/story-26253269-detail/story.html).  Here is her response:
“I think it’s great that she feels empowered and has control over what is out there (in relation to her pictures). I also applaud the fact that she is comfortable enough to admit that she has taken (private) nude photos and would rather share them, instead of having them stolen from her.

I also think that its very clever of her to promote them through a website that she owns because it will bring more traffic to her site and increase her visibility, which is important to an up and coming actor.

However, I hate the fact that she felt she HAD to do this because her privacy is at stake…
